I was approached by the daugther of the artist Alice Heilmann to design a book of her mother’s artworks from 1950-2010. Nearly every painting within this book I scanned myself so I could crop and edit them accordingly. This is another project which I lead from start to finish, regularly meeting with the clients in person and having weekly meetings about how the book was coming along.

The outcome was over 40 pages of neatly placed artwork which was painstakingly scanned, edited and cropped by myself using all kinds of scanners and Photoshop over the course of five months. The book’s layout is landscape A4 with 11pt leading with the cover being a high-resolution close-up of Heilmann’s favourite painting.
